Account Information: When you sign in using Google OAuth, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by Google. When you register with email and password, we collect your name and email address. Your password is securely hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. This is the minimum information required to create and maintain your account.

Uploaded Images: When you use our Service, you may upload images for animation processing. These images are stored temporarily on our servers for the purpose of generating your animated wallpapers.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including the number of animations generated, effect types selected, export formats chosen, and general interaction patterns. This helps us improve the Service and allocate resources effectively.

Technical Data: We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and access times. This data is used for security, debugging, and performance optimization.

Provide and Improve the Service: We use your information to operate, maintain, and improve FlickClaw. This includes processing your images, generating animations, managing your account, and providing customer support.

AI Model Improvement: Anonymized, aggregated usage data may be used to improve our AI models and effect algorithms. We do not use your personal images for model training without explicit consent.

Communication: We may use your email address to send service-related notifications, such as account updates, security alerts, and responses to your support requests. You can opt out of promotional communications at any time.

Security and Fraud Prevention: We use collected data to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues. This includes monitoring for unusual activity patterns and protecting against unauthorized access.

Processing: Uploaded images are processed on our secure servers. The AI analysis and animation generation occur in an isolated environment, and your images are not accessible to other users.

Storage: Images are stored temporarily on our servers. For Free tier users, uploaded images and generated animations are automatically deleted after 30 days. For Pro and Enterprise users, content is retained for up to 90 days unless you choose to delete it earlier.

Deletion: You can delete your uploaded images and generated animations at any time through your dashboard. Upon deletion, files are permanently removed from our servers within 48 hours. Account deletion results in the removal of all associated content.

No Training on User Content: We do not use your uploaded images or generated animations to train our AI models. Your creative content remains yours alone.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or images to third parties. We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request. We will attempt to notify you of such disclosures when legally permitted.

Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you of any such transfer and your choices regarding your information.

Session Cookies: FlickClaw uses NextAuth session cookies to maintain your authentication state. These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled without losing access to authenticated features.

Analytics: We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with the Service. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to collect anonymized usage data. You can opt out of analytics tracking through your browser settings.

Third-Party Services: Our authentication provider (Google OAuth) and payment processor may set their own cookies as part of their services. These are governed by their respective privacy policies.

Account Data: Your account information is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.

Images and Animations: Free tier content is automatically deleted after 30 days. Pro and Enterprise tier content is retained for up to 90 days. You can delete content at any time through your dashboard.

Usage Data: Anonymized and aggregated usage data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

Backup Copies: Residual copies of your data may exist in our backup systems for up to 90 days after deletion. These backups are securely managed and are not accessible for any purpose other than disaster recovery.

Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You can view most of this information directly through your account settings.

Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. You can delete individual items through your dashboard or request full account deletion by contacting us.

Export: You have the right to export your personal data in a machine-readable format. Contact support@flickclaw.com to request a data export.

Objection: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for specific purposes, such as marketing communications. To exercise this right, contact us at support@flickclaw.com.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

FlickClaw is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Users between the ages of 13 and 18 should use the Service only with parental or guardian consent. By using FlickClaw, users in this age group represent that they have obtained such consent.
